Thereafter, Ms Christine Kang from JunHe lectured about "The Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards in China" referring to a more and more arbitration friendly position of Chinese courts as to the recognition of foreign arbitral awards.

Finally, Dr. Li Hu, the Vice President of CIETAC, reported on "Recent Developments at CIETAC" giving a positive outlook on the growing number of arbitration proceedings in China and the envisaged cooperation between CIETAC and European based arbitration institutes like CEAC and DIS in promoting arbitration.
